IX.  Definitives of 1876 and 1879

As a new issue was needed, the Romanian governement decided to print a new issue based on Hulots plates, this time executed by the National Printing Office of Bucharest. On this occasion, or maybe somewhat later, it was observed that some plates was worn and it was decided to redo these at the same time as new ones were made for new values. This work gave birth to a large number of essays. These are often encountered surcharged ANULAT in black.
These pages on the Bucharest issues still requires work. Have patience with us - they will improve.
