FORGERIES
In 1917-18 someone tried to transform an amount of War Tax Stamps (often with "errors" - probably printers waste)
into philatelically interesting letters using:
a/ forged Bucharest three star cancellation

b/ forged censor cancellation

Frame: 62:38  Colour: red
1R: 38:5 G   2R: 5,5mm high G  3R: 50:6,5 G
c/ Censor number cancellations (too big: 10:8mm)

Unidentified cancellation

Frame: 58:26  1R: 54:8  2R: 43:6
This cancellation has yet been found on only one letter -
on Mi nr 4. Telegut & Thielk rates it as doubtful -
maybe bogus
