Military and Censor cancellations in Romania 1913 - 1920

In the Balkan War (1913) and WW1 the Field Post Cancellations of the Romanian military units were also used as censor cancellations as all correspondence of the soldiers were distibuted by Military Postal Units.

4.  Censor cancellation with date and town

Double circle or Circle cancellation (31 mm). Normally gitter - or black halfcircles.
BIUROUL DE CENZURA MILITARAl   in top circle
day, month & year in middle
toen in bottom circle.  Colour black or red

Cancellation BUCURESTI-SCRISORI used mostly on letters from Jassy area.
This indicates that the Military Censorship retreating from Bucharest brought this
cancel with them and used it in the Jassy area.

5.  Negative Censor cancellation

All Post from the unoccupied parts of Romania was (from november 1916) directed through the allied Russia (Petrograd or Odessa (rare). Post to West was further transfered via Scandinavia.
